Sect matters to most Jain families, and so does sub-sect within it. We ask early rather than let it surface after two families have already met, and the shortlist is built accordingly — including for families who are open across sects and would rather say so upfront.
Dietary practice, raised before the meeting
How strictly a household observes — root vegetables, timing of meals, fasting during Paryushan — is one of the most common reasons an otherwise good Jain match doesn't work. It goes on the table at the shortlist stage, not after.

Questions About Jain Matrimonial Services
Do you match across Digambar and Shwetambar families?
Yes, where both families are open to it. Many are not, and that's equally fine — we ask at the start so the shortlist reflects what your family actually wants rather than what we assume.
How do you handle differences in dietary observance?
It's part of the initial conversation. How strict each household is about root vegetables, night-time meals and fasting periods gets recorded and matched, because it's one of the most common reasons a Jain alliance falls apart later.
Is Arihant a separate company from Sycorian?
No. Arihant is the name of Sycorian's Jain matchmaking vertical — same company, same Safdarjung Enclave office, same packages. The separate name exists because the community's requirements are specific enough to warrant a dedicated team.
Do you work with Jain families outside Delhi?
Yes. Delhi NCR and Mumbai are our two offices, and we work with Jain families in both, including families based abroad looking for a match in India.
